The deserving winners of the 2018 GE Awards were announced on Wednesday 6 June at the Hilton Park Lane, London.
The GE Awards brought together 750 clients, contractors, designers and geotechnical experts for a glamorous evening of celebration, recognition and networking.
After review by the panel of over 50 expert judges, Bouygues UK and Campbell Reith won in recognition of them ‘overcoming geotechnical challenges in an innovative way, disseminating information beyond the project to benefit the wider industry and clearly demonstrating engagement with a range of stakeholders and third parties.’
Claire Smith, Editor of Ground Engineering, commented: “The GE Awards is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and every year the industry has demonstrated that however tight the budget and competitive the market, it can still deliver award-winning innovation, technical expertise and value engineering – and this year is no exception.
“This year the ground engineering sector has excelled not just in terms of quality but also quantity with our highest number of entries ever from a more diverse group of businesses. I’d like to congratulate everyone on the shortlist – getting to the final stage was not an easy task this year – but we have some very worthy winners this year who should be proud of their achievement.”
