Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain is critical to the success of our projects, the continued relationships with our clients and the satisfaction of our customers
At Bouygues UK we have a clear, business-wide approach to our supply chain, which is launched from the earliest stage of a project and is supported by skilled professionals within our Procurement & Supply Chain (PSC) function who ensure that there is regular contact and continuous development opportunities for our core supply chain.
This approach also promotes early engagement, a reduced number of tenders and a commitment to those companies that have supported us through the pre-construction phase. There is also the potential for those who consistently outperform their peers to become a Preferred Tier 1 subcontractor. We understand the importance of promoting and developing collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships if we are to be the contractor of choice for our clients and our supply chain.
If you would like to find out more about us and how to become an Approved Supplier please email email@example.com.
In order to maintain our high standards of compliance it is vital that we have an effective prequalification solution for all subcontractors and consultants. We believe that Constructionline provides the most appropriate service in this regard and best supports our commitment to reduce the duplication that exists within the industry as part of prequalification.
Our current minimum prequalification criteria includes a valid SSIP accreditation plus Constructionline “Verified” at Silver (Level 2). This is based upon PAS91, the UK Government’s standard prequalification process for the construction industry. We also encourage and support our supply chain in their efforts to achieve Constructionline Gold (Level 3).
There are many additional benefits for those registered with Constructionline and for more information about this and how to become a member please click here: https://www.constructionline.co.uk/products-services/
Supply Chain Sustainability School
We are very proud to be a Partner Member of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, supporting the organisation’s great work in providing free CPD accredited learning material and training resources to the construction industry, covering a huge variety of sustainability and management topics.
The School plays a key role in helping us and our supply chain to better understand major industry themes such as Modern Slavery and Responsible Sourcing. We encourage all of our supply chain to access and use the plethora of great quality, free CPD accredited resources available and to develop a tailored sustainability learning action plan. This plan can help provide focus on what is important for each School Member, depending upon their trade / sector and current level of knowledge as well as promoting continuous improvement within that business. In addition the School organises regular supplier days and workshops, which we support, on a range of topical issues. For more information, please click here: https://www.supplychainschool.co.uk
