Brighton

The Moulsecoomb Campus combines expertise from across the Bouygues Group. Financed, designed, developed and built by Bouygues UK, Equans now maintain and operate this facility and will do so for 50 years.

Bouygues UK undertook and managed the required development scope and responsibilities for the implementation of the project, developing further stages of the design including helping the University of Brighton to secure, at tender stage, planning consent for a whole masterplan transforming Moulsecoomb campus.

The five new towers at the Moulsecoomb Campus, ranging in height from eight to eighteen floors, provide over 800 affordable student bedrooms and space at ground level for a new Students’ Union and fitness facilities.

Designed by HASSELL architects, this high-quality student residence has been built on the eastern side of the Moulsecoomb campus and forms part of a vast transformation project, turning it into a sustainable and innovative campus.

The entire campus development has been built to the highest environmental standards with an emphasis on sustainability, incorporating over 300 native species trees across the campus.
