Bouygues UK books £45m housing contract
Bouygues UK has confirmed an order in excess of £45m to deliver two phases of a large regeneration project in west London, on behalf of social housing provider, Catalyst Housing.
The contractor’s work as part of the scheme on Havelock Estate in Ealing will deliver just under 300 new homes for the area, with around half of these allocated for shared ownership and shared equity, and the remaining properties for sale. The homes will be spread across six new apartment buildings as well as two and three storey houses.
Bouygues UK has been working closely with Catalyst Housing on the design of the project since 2012; securing planning permission, identifying the services that need to be diverted and roads that need to be realigned as part of the regeneration scheme.
The win represents yet another major redevelopment project for Bouygues UK, which is already working on other significant regeneration schemes across London, including at Hallsville Quarter in Newham and as part of the Gascoigne East Masterplan in Barking and Dagenham.
