In May 2021, Bouygues UK became a member of the Cambridge Service Alliance, founded in 2010 by Cambridge University for the development of new services based on emerging technologies.
Convinced by the value potential of Digital Twin technology within our industry, Bouygues UK embarked on a collaborative journey with Cambridge’s professors and researchers to build a business model based on Digital Twin’s capabilities.
Through the results of our work with the university and thanks to information found within literature reviews, interviews, and data from various sectors, we have drafted a comprehensive typology of business model archetypes.
This concerted effort not only enhances Bouygues UK’s understanding of Digital Twins but also opens up opportunities to implement robust technical systems across our construction projects, allowing us to stay at the forefront of innovation in the industry.
