UCLH Charity Cycle

11/06/2021

Last weekend, 12 members of Bouygues UK joined two members of their UCLH client team to take on the impressive feat of cycling 350km in three days to raise money for University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s charity.

The spirited cyclists started their quest at The Christie Hospital in Manchester and cycled via Ashby de la Zouch in the Peak district to their final destination at UCLH in central London. The Bouygues UK cycling team raised £6,000 from the journey, with Bouygues UK donating an additional £10,000. This, in addition to the funds raised by the UCLH team members, means £22,000 has been raised so far. Well done to all involved!

The Bouygues UK group said it was a brilliant challenge to be part of, with everyone showing great team spirit and enthusiasm. Those involved would like to say a special thanks to Discover Adventure who facilitated the challenge excellently.

The JustGiving page is still open so if you would like to donate, you can do so here. The UCLH Charity is the main charity supporting patients, staff and research at UCLH Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Any donations made will go directly towards supporting the nation’s hardworking NHS staff.
