Monday 16 – Saturday 21 March: Your chance to go behind the scenes of the construction industry’s best buildings

Bouygues UK is one of many construction companies opening its sites to the public as part of a week-long event aimed at attracting young people into a career in construction. The following eight Bouygues UK sites across the UK are open on the dates below as part of Open Doors 2020:

  • Cardiff Innovation Campus, Cardiff – open Friday 20 and Saturday 21 March
  • Castle Park View, Bristol – open Monday 16, Wednesday 18 and Saturday 21 March
  • Cavendish III and Shared Facilities Hub, University of Cambridge – open Saturday 21 March
  • Leigh Academy, Blackheath, London – open Thursday 19 and Friday 20 March
  • Moulsecoomb Campus, University of Brighton – open Friday 20 March
  • Olive Primary School, Birmingham – open Thursday 19 March
  • Postmark, Mount Pleasant, London – open Friday 20 March
  • Tower Hamlets Town Hall, London – open Thursday 19 and Friday 20 March

These eight Bouygues UK sites will take part in Open Doors 2020 – which is delivered by Build UK in partnership with CITB. Open Doors offers a unique chance for the public to go behind the scenes of live construction sites, offices, factories, and training centres across Great Britain, and discover how the communities they live in are shaped and constructed by an industry with a diverse range of career paths to offer.

Open Doors takes place between Monday 16 - Saturday 21 March 2020. Bookings are now available on the Open Doors website and spaces are set to fill up quickly.

Open Doors seeks to inspire young people and career changers to consider and explore a dynamic and exciting career in the construction industry.

The event is also supported by the Considerate Contractors Scheme, the Careers Enterprise Company, Department for Work & Pensions and media partner Construction News.
