Adding much needed care to the area, Foxbridge House caters for patients with dementia in Kent.
Featuring 84 bedrooms arranged over three storeys, this luxury care home caters for residents with dementia and is equipped with the very latest nursing facilities as well as a shop, hairdressing salon, café, library, indoor village green and a cinema.
The home features a contemporary design with large windows that fill the home with light. Each floor – or suite – has its own lounge and dining area to create the feel of a small community which is particularly helpful for residents with dementia, and the home is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
The 84 bedrooms are bright and spacious with subtly different colour schemes and views. They also have high quality furniture, soft furnishings and technology. The landscaped gardens have plenty of seating and are both secure and wheelchair accessible, so residents can enjoy the beautiful flowers and plants, chosen for their sensory properties.
The development greatly improved the existing site and environment. Aiming to be sensitive to the scale of the surrounding buildings the design maximises the sense of openness and outlook both to and from the site.
