Bowden House

Bowden House is part of the Tower Hamlets’ BSF programme will invest up to £300 million (including ICT investment) in secondary schools to provide world-class 21st century facilities that will transform the educational outcomes of young people.

Working with Tower Hamlets, the company completed the construction of Bowden House – a residential school for up to 40 boys with social, behavioural and emotional needs – in 2012.

The project included a new teaching block and a sports hall, in a steel frame structure, with block and beam floors and a standing seam roof.  The new residential block was designed with a mixture of masonry and insulated cladding to the facade.

Bowden House actively promotes social inclusion and aims to give each pupil the opportunity to develop the required skills to participate as a successful member of society.
